Biography |
Trishaa does not paint from photographs or resource material. All paintings capture the emotion of a scene rather than a photographic replica. She believes there is an intrinsic vibration in all living things, that can be brought to the canvas through colour, texture and form. Trishaa began with a love and interest in photography that progressed to creating images using paint on canvas. Having lived and travelled extensively throughout Europe, she now concentrates on portraying the unrivalled light, colour and ambience of her home in northern NSW Australia. In an age of digitally manipulated art, she is attempting to restore a rawness and passion of spirit, which cannot be duplicated by technology. She continues to explore ways of crossing the boundary between realism and impressionism. This approach ensures each painting is uniquely special. Trishaa has completed many commissions here and overseas. |
